 Meet Christina.

I created this series because we meet women every day without knowing the journeys behind who they are — what they’ve overcome, accomplished, sacrificed, built, or are still becoming.

 The jewelry we wear may be visible, but the stories we carry often aren’t. The Stories We Carry celebrates the woman, her journey, and everything that has shaped who she is today.

 This is Christina’s story, in her own words.

✨ MY STORY

A defining moment in my life was the day I chose to make Christ the center of it. 

Growing up, I was blessed with a strong family who taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and resilience. The unspoken message was clear: work hard, push through challenges, and never let others see your weaknesses. For much of my childhood and early adult years, I lived by that standard.

 I worked hard, tried not to show fear, and convinced myself that hurtful words and difficult circumstances didn't affect me.

 But as life unfolded, I began to realize that I wasn't as strong as I wanted to believe. There were fears surrounding my own future and concerns for people I deeply loved. The uncertainties of life began to surface in ways I couldn't ignore.

 It was during that season of uncertainty that a turning point occurred.

 With the encouragement and support of loved ones, I began a journey of discovering who I truly was and learning about the promises God had for my life.

 My faith journey has not been perfect. I still stumble. I still have days when fear and uncertainty try to creep in. I am continually learning, growing, and deepening my relationship with Christ. But I am not the same woman I was before. Because of Him, I have a foundation that remains steady even when life feels uncertain.

 Surely your goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. -Psalm 23:6
